Register your interest
The process for joining the sailing program is as follows:
-
Register: Register your interest using the form below. There is not obligation to proceed with payment at this stage. Try it out on our Open Day on Sunday 13 October 12pm to 2pm .

-
Select: The club will then advise students if they have been successful in registering for the course. If the course is oversubscribed we will select students based on their learning attitude.
-

Becoming a member
This Learn to Sail program is offered by Greenwich Flying Squadron, a community not-for-profit club, run by volunteers. However the courses are staffed by professional accredited instructor/coaches.
Our constitution requires that everyone using the facilities must be a member. By registering for this course, the children and one adult are provided a free annual associate membership as part of the course fees (valued at $140 each). If parent participate in other club activities they will need to pay this fee.

If you are registering more than one child, you may wish to register each separately so both parents obtain their free membership (see Parents for details of membership benefits).

For insurance reasons, every person using the club must also have an Australian Sailing number. AS is the national body for sailing in Australia. If your child is not an Australian Sailing member already this number will be issued by Australian Sailing once your registration for the course has been accepted.
